George Wilson, professional musician and organist extraordinaire, brings a lifetime of exploration and interpretation to this programme of Bach organ works in the key of D. Returning to the Fringe for the fourth successive year, he opens with the Toccata and Fugue, arguably the best known of all Bach’s works, includes the serene Air (popularly known as Air on the G String), and climaxes with the exhilarating Prelude and Fugue.

A new generation of Wilson musicians is emerging, and the programme features performances from George’s talented 12 year old twin sons. Violinist Tom plays the profound and passionate Sarabande from the Suite in D minor, and Adam performs the upbeat Gigue from the D minor Suite for Cello.
