'Songs of Courtship'
The centrepiece of the programme will be John Bevan-Baker's work of the same name, a setting of 13 short poems from the 7th century BC Chinese poet Mao Shih. Also in the programme will be Vaughan Williams' Five English Folk Songs and two songs by Holst, most of which also have courtship as a theme.
